Golfers are accompanied by the charming sight of dry-stone walls, centuries-old huts, the mighty Schesaplana massif and clear mountain streams. The 18 holes of GC Montfort Rankweil lie in the heart of the Vorarlberg Rhine Valley at the edge of the “Rankweiler Weitried” plain. The golf club is conveniently located on major transportation arteries.

A round on this course is a true challenge for golfers of all handicaps: The first nine holes demand a controlled, precise tee shot, whereas the back nine require long drives off the tee onto broad fairways in order to reach the greens in regulation. The greens are closely guarded by strategically placed bunkers and have to be read very carefully due to occasionally tricky slopes.
Hole 14, a Par 3, is guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping, since the green is situated right in the middle of one of the two big ponds on this course. Even for long-hitters, the dead-straight 8th hole, 567 m in length, is a major challenge. That said, a full round of golf at GC Montfort Rankweil, because it demands that golfers use their full range of skills, promises all kinds of variety and very intriguing challenges.
